KNOT GARLAND BANGLE
DESCRIPTION
Sphinxy carries the pankou language into translucent resin, where the traditional knot becomes a sculpted, weightless silhouette on the body. A ring of sculpted knots winds around the resin bangle like a soft garland, translating a traditional decorative motif into a modern, wearable sculpture.
The bangle's translucent body glows subtly under light, letting the woven detail read as suspended texture.

MEET THE BRAND
Founded in 2020 by designer Xu Yue — a graduate of Metal Art at Tsinghua University and Jewelry & Metalwork at the Royal College of Art — SPHINXY takes its name from the Sphinx of Greek mythology: a symbol of riddles and the unknown.
The brand explores the language of sculpture as it lives on the human body. Drawing inspiration from the imagined relics of humankind, each piece is conceived as a small wearable sculpture — where narrative and ornament become inseparable.
Jewelry, for SPHINXY, is not merely worn. It is carried, contemplated, and kept.
