PANKOU KNOT NECKLACE
DESCRIPTION
The Whispering Knot line reworks Chinese pankou knotting into fine metal, softening its sharp geometry with hand-set zirconia accents. A fine chain drapes across the collarbone, anchored by a small pankou knot pendant.
Hand-set zirconia trace the folds of the knot, offering a quiet play of light. Green stones give a mineral depth, white stones read light and modern, both easy to layer or wear alone.

Founded in 2020 by designer Xu Yue — a graduate of Metal Art at Tsinghua University and Jewelry & Metalwork at the Royal College of Art — SPHINXY takes its name from the Sphinx of Greek mythology: a symbol of riddles and the unknown.
The brand explores the language of sculpture as it lives on the human body. Drawing inspiration from the imagined relics of humankind, each piece is conceived as a small wearable sculpture — where narrative and ornament become inseparable.
Jewelry, for SPHINXY, is not merely worn. It is carried, contemplated, and kept.
