Collection: WAN SHI｜ SPHINXY

With Wanshi, SPHINXY introduces a Chinese-clothing vocabulary into its sculptural practice by folding in the Pankou (traditional Chinese frog clasp) as a structural motif.
The collection pairs dark-green zircon accents with metal forms modeled on a hexagonal diamond, creating a dialogue between jewel-hard geometry and the soft, knotted ribbon logic of the pankou. The shape language is meant as a quiet metaphor for human relics embedded across deep geological time — something precious, patient and slow.
Crucially, the hard, cold quality of metal is deliberately dissolved into the soft, looping curves of the pankou knot, so that what looks like a rigid sculpture on the table becomes flexible and forgiving to wear. The series is positioned as opening up new, more playful possibilities for how a piece of jewelry sits on the body.
